First DLC pack for 4J Studios’ chaotic couch co-op creation introduces new characters, additional levels and enhanced gameplay
October 12 2023: 4J Studios is almost frightened to announce the launch of Manic Mechanics – Banshee Bay, the first DLC pack for Manic Mechanics™, which is available from today for Nintendo Switch™.
Banshee Bay is a creepy outcrop of Octane Isle, where Dr. Lupita Vavroom – resident mad scientist and Manic Mechanic – has discovered a way to bring classic cars back from the spooky scrapheap. Manic Mechanics – Banshee Bay features the same chaotic couch co-op action as Manic Mechanics, but with a host of terrifying twists, including:
• Five all-new Halloween-themed levels
• A workshop full of ghostly new hazards and vehicle parts
• A brand new boss, Dr. Lupita Vavroom
• Seven spooky new playable characters
• An all-new purification station, designed to de-curse haunted parts
• A trick or treat bag of new achievements and secrets to unlock
In Manic Mechanics, released on Nintendo Switch in July of this year, up to four players visit the motor-obsessed Octane Isle to take on increasingly complex challenges in a quest to take their places atop Mount Wrenchmore. The harder mechanics work, the more comedic chaos ensues – tires explode, fuel spills, robots short-circuit, cows stampede and UFOs attempt alien abductions as players attempt to fix as many vehicles (cars, trucks, helicopters, tractors, UFOs etc…) as they can before the clock times out.

Manic Mechanics – Banshee Bay is available now from your local Nintendo eShop. The DLC pack will launch at a discount of up to 90%* before reverting to its standard price of $4.99/£4.49/€4.49 (or local equivalent) at the stroke of midnight on Halloween (October 31).
